Please add Melbourne!
What a Brilliant tool! Great for research purposes.
In order to add your city, the local transport provider needs to publish its public transport data in the GTFS format.
Please write your public transport agency and ask them to provide developers with GTFS data for free and under fair conditions. Point out the benefits they have when developers build cool applications like Mapnificent based on this data.
Please report progress and post any relevant links here. Thanks.

Progress below sounds good, there is also a request button on the City-Go-Round GTFS clearinghouse site:
June 2012 is the potential release date according to this response I got from the state government:
Thankyou for your enquiry.
The Department of Transport advises the following:
The Department of Transport understands the value of releasing this data publicly and is working towards a release date of end of June 2012.
At this time the information will be released in line with the Public Sector Information Release Framework (PSIRF) principles. That is, the data will be released in an open format (i.e. General Transit Feed Specification or GTFS) and without bias (i.e. It will be released to all interested parties at the same time.
The work being undertaken in preparation for the June 2012 release date includes improving the quality of the data and a system upgrade project that will provide the necessary technology to release the information to the public in the open format (GTFS).
Below is the link from the Department of Transport website regarding this.
The article states that they gave the data to Google as part of a special deal. Sounds like no data for indie developers.
There might be some progress on this front:

To all Melbournians wanting this service:
Contact Metlink directly. I believe they currently have the GTFS data, it just hasn't been made public.

I e-mailed Metlink with a request to post GTFS but one obstacle that I foresee is the myriad private providers they have. METRO does trains, Yarra Trams does trams and bus routes are split between many companies. However they all post schedules at the stops and all routes are searchable on the metlink website so they should be able to gather it all in one.
I love the site. Good job.
